On this day, my father took a half day from work. We drove up in the truck and began the hike early in the afternoon. This was our most exhausting climb. We were convinced that the trail had us circling around the mountain rather than up it. It was very difficult to guage our progress that day as we were in the clouds. Therefore the top of Giant was uneventful. On the way to Rocky Peak Ridge, Jeff got carried along for a short distance. Views were still very limited on Rocky Peak Ridge. We took a few pictures and headed home.
