30 August 1986: Esther and Whiteface
This trip was organized by Nick Boltash, one of my father's co-workers. We took some sort of sort cut to Esther before doing Whiteface. This was our first trailless experience and everything went well. The view of Whiteface from Esther was impressive. We slept in the back of the truck that night and climbed Wright, Algonquin and Iroquois the following day.
